SERVICES
After the carburetor is overhauled, we will leak check it and run it on a test engine under both load and idle. All the passages will be cleaned and the float level set. Your carburetor will be painted - brass will be clear coated - with brass parts being left brass. All you will need to do is install it and make any minor adjustments.

CARBURETOR OVERHAULS
Overhauls may be necessary because most carburetor problems are caused by dirt particles, varnish and other deposits that block the narrow fuel and air passages inside. The main fuel jet is a typical area that can become blocked by debris and varnish. Cleaning with some carburetor cleaner and compressed air for blowing out loosened debris and solvent. Gaskets and O-rings may eventually shrink, causing fuel and air leaks that lead to poor engine performance.
